A group of creative young minds gathered in Maksaky—our beloved traditional clay hut (khata-mazanka) and our own small center of the world. Their mission? To create a video for the Pentecost (Trijcja) holidays, inspired by the poetry of the renowned humorist and poet, Hryts Haiovyi.
Back in 2022, Hryhoriy Tytovych wrote a humorous trilogy specifically for our project, "Mena Dialect" (Menska hovirka), capturing the unique local speech of our region. Ever since then, we shared a dream: to bring his words to life in a mini-film. Now, that dream is finally becoming reality.
